Vibrant Beach Colors

A lonely chair sat in the sand as we made our way through a busy Sunday at the beach.

We never go to the beach on the weekend. It’s always crowded with tourists and weekend relaxers.

We were curious to see how much beach erosion might have occurred after Hurricane Matthew.

Several days before the hurricane had been threatening the beach areas.

It was amazing to see the beach was picture perfect.

A tent seemed a bit odd. Perhaps, a non-sun worshiper owned this one.

~~~~~~
When we decided to hop in the car and go, I grabbed:
1.  a beach chair
2. a bottle of water
3. sunhat and glasses
4. my camera
I don’t know how many people owned all of this stuff but it seemed a bit much.
The vibrantly colorful umbrella and chairs added a fun look to the chaos though.
It looks like this group – whoever they were – needed a shopping trolley to carry all of their stuff.
The vibrant cooler and chair made all of it look like a fun party.
The pelicans were floating calming on the vibrant blue waters.
No need for umbrellas or stuff here.
I’m sure I’ve mentioned that I live in a small town.
It isn’t unusual to come across someone we might know.
While looking through my zoom lens I spotted our eldest daughter.
She and her beach walking buddy were out exercising.
Recently, she lost 70 pounds and is, now, exercising with beach walks.
I told my hubby I had spotted her.
He said, I think you might be mistaken.
I said, “No, that’s my daughter and her friend.”
Since we were about 15′ from the shore, he decided to walk and get a closer look.
The photo is a bit blurry because I was laughing from seeing her excitement.
From her expression, I  think you can see she recognized her Dad in his vibrant colorful shirt.
She didn’t want a photo but it’s the beach; no one looks put together.
My last photo of the day was of a small plane flying in the beautiful vibrant blue sky.
