The festive city of San Juan is the perfect place to experience Puerto Rican culture.
Get to know its roots by exploring the vibrant neighborhood of El Viejo San Juan (Old San Juan),
which consists mostly of colorful Spanish colonial buildings. info: trip advisor

Old San Juan is located on a small and narrow island which lies along the north coast, about 35 miles (56 km) from the east end of Puerto Rico, and is united to the mainland of Puerto Rico by three bridges. It is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean to the north and to the south by San Juan Bay (or “Bahia de San Juan”)—which lies between the city and the mainland. info: wikipedia

    • I like walking up or down narrow streets, too. When I went to school in an Old Benedictine Monastery, I had to walk to school on narrow streets. There’s an old world feel about it. The streets in Old San Juan are angled. I wonder if it had to do with rain draining. I haven’t been able to find out from any tour guide about it. Maybe, I should google it. LOL
