Moored at the Quay

Art Abstract.web

Abstract, as in relating to abstract art, exists in thought or as an idea.

The best art has meaning beyond just an image;

perhaps, it will bring you to tears, make you laugh,

or remind you of something you’d almost forgotten.

It also stands out in a crowd, and dares to be different.

This week, Ben Huberman, is asking us to point our camera

at something familiar and turn it into something else.

Whether it’s a wall in your house, a friend’s arm, or a billboard

seen from afar, we may or may not recognize what it actually is.

But we’ll certainly discover something else about it in the process.

    • I almost didn’t take the photograph. We were on a boat in Costa Rica wandering the
waters looking for crocodiles and wildlife. I saw the boat and thought I would photograph it.
The boat guide took off as I was capturing it. The image is the results of him leaving
too quickly. One never knows how a photograph will turn out.
Thank for the nice comment and for popping in to visit.

    • The boat was quite old and weathered. I had hesitated taking the photo.
Then, decided I could always delete it. I’m glad I took the shot.
Thank you for appreciating the photograph; for visiting and leaving your
      cery nice comment.
