you can rent a beach chair.

This summer, we’ve had a tremendous amount of rain here in Florida.

On Sunday, when the sun was shining so bright,

I couldn’t resist the temptation to go to the beach;

despite my recent back surgery.

No walking on the sand, no swimming in the water and no staying too long

but the mere hour lifted my spirits.

  2. Hope your back is improving. I can understand an hour out at the seaside would improve anybody’s spirits even if you couldn’t do anything. I thought at first the chairs were for sale but realised by the end that they were for hire. What a great idea. Save you carrying the house to the beach.

    • Yes, Irene, I’m inproving daily. Healing from a back injury can be tricky. One never realized how much we rely on it. 😊
      It was a glorious time for me as I LOVE the beach. I live less than 10 minutes away. It’s my place to write and photograph.
      I hope to be able to do more real soon. Thank you for commenting on your visit.

  3. Great photos, I love being near the sea too. Not sure how comfortable the chairs would be if you were sitting for a long time, but it certainly is a great idea and lends a lot of colour too. It was great to hear from you, take care. Dee

    • I believe they’re mainly for the tourists who are vacationing near the beach. I keep my comfortable folding chair in the boot of my car.
      They’re always handy for when I want to stop and view the ocean for awhile. I live less than 10 minutes. I’m truly blessed to be able to
      enjoy the ocean often. Thank for commenting on your visit, Dee.

    • I was amazed at the price too. It’s something they’ve just begun to do. I wonder if the prices will go
      up when it becomes more popular. We always have our folding chairs in our trunk/boot of the car.
      But, for someone who doesn’t happen to have one, it’s quite handy.
      Yes, I did enjoy my beach visit. I am progressing nicely but still need to be cautious. Thank you, Sylvia. 😄
