Weekly Photo Challenge – Relic – Old Fort
Alice in Wonderland and me …. my hubby shot this not-so-complimentary photo of me with our tour guide at this old fort.
Yes …. this is the name she asked everyone to call her. She was very informative and had a humorous
personality despite the grim look on her face. It was extremely hot. I imagine she was ready to go home as we were the last 6 people on
her tour. The photo was snapped at the top ledge of the fort. Quite a view ….
This week the Weekly Photo Challenge is Relic.
Share a photo of what “relic” means to you — it could be your still-running 1979 Honda Accord Hatchback, an historic building in your town, or an old, rusted farm implement poking up through the long grass in a field.
Hi there, just became aware of your blog through Google,
and found that it is truly informative. I am gonna watch out for brussels.
I will appreciate if you continue this in future. Numerous people will
be benefited from your writing. Cheers!

Thank you for the compliment. I’m sure you know how difficult it is to have a good photo of
yourself taken when you are hot, tired and hungry. But, I love the way Alice in Wonderland
was willing to take a photo with me and not take one with anyone else. I guess the generous
tip we had given her in the beginning of the tour helped. ~~~~ : – )
The fort has been there for centuries. I found it odd that the side bricks were a different color
then the ones in the front. Nature … doing its’ own thing. : )

She had a really pleasant personality. Everyone enjoyed her accent. It was breezy the higher you climbed.
My hair was doing it’s own thing. lol Glad you enjoyed her name, Gilly. I hope I can post another photo of
a tour guide with the name Duke of Earl – hilarious guy ….
Have a fab weekend ❤
