Unplugged – Bowling

Bowling Lane 2.web

Bowling refers to a series of sports or leisure activities in which a player rolls or throws a bowling ball down a lane. A game played by rolling a ball down a wooden alley in order to knock down a triangular group of ten pins. In some places it’s called tenpins.

Sometimes, we all need a break from these little glowing boxes. How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen? Photographers, artists, poets: show us UNPLUGGED. To join in – http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/10/08/daily-prompt-unplugged/

  2. If I were to go bowling, I’d need those things they put in the gutters so my ball would have a chance of meeting a pin or two!

As for how I unplug? I quilt, walk, dance, have long talks with Scrappy, and meditate. Not all at the same time, of course!

    • I’m a terrible bowler and haven’t bowled in about 5 years.
I’m a bit more sedate now. Reading and meditating are more my style … and … dancing, well, when the knees are good that’s where you’ll find me. It’s a shame the knees have a mind of their own. hahaha

    • This particular bowling alley is on the cruise ship ‘Norwegian Epic’. We would have loked to play but there is only 2 lanes
so lots of teens and children took up the lanes. BUT … we have a very nice bowling alley where I live. We haven’t been
recently. We’ve always enjoyed it. BTW … it’s great exercise too. Hope you get back to doing it again.
Thanks for the reflagged. It’s greatly appreciated. xoxo
      Have a wonderful weekend …
