Travel theme: International Women’s Day
Nurturing – Mother and Child
A Mothers Love
A mothers love is everlasting, forever
A mother and her child will always be together
A mothers love for her child through the smiles and the tears
Will stay strong for years and years
A mothers love will never die
Even if sometimes her child makes her cry
A mother can really reach up high, and touch the sky
When next to her is her child
A mothers love will reach beyond the grave
When a mother is with her child she will always be brave
Two children or one, daughter or son
More precious than the stars above
You can never take a mothers love
Poem by Natasha Potter
White is the color of purity. White means kindness. White is Monday’s color. White daisies are a symbol of loyal love.
Strictly speaking, white is not a color, but the manifestation of the presence of all color – the complete energy of light. It stands for wholeness and completion. In many cultures it represents openness and truth. White has a cold quality. It can provide clarity as its energy is complete.
White has purification vibrations and can be used to clear blocks from your path.
It holds the potential to move toward every other color and this makes it a good choice for new beginnings, and development in any direction.
Put some white in your life when you want:
• to clear clutter and obstacles away
• to start a fresh beginning
• to bring about mental clarity
• purification of thoughts or actions
Challenge – This week’s theme is wide open for however you want to celebrate the woman or women in your life, or all women in general. A portrait, essay, something symbolic, or a place that reminds you of someone, like Dublin’s Ha’penny Bridge which I’ve crossed many a time in the past with my mother by my side.
